OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

I am a Louisiana girl by heart, born and raised in north LA. I earned my Bachelors Degree of Science at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and my Masters Degree of Occupational Therapy at Louisiana State University in Shreveport.  I relocated to FL in 2017 for my family and to pursue my career in Occupational Therapy.  I am a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Florida Occupational Therapy Association and the American Hippotherapy Association.  I have experience working with clients from 0 to 100 years of age in a variety of inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics and school system settings. While my background is diverse, my passion remains with the pediatric population and that is where the majority of my experiences lies. I have worked with clients who were diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifidia, congenital limb deficiencies, rare genetic disorders, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and much more! I have completed intensive continuing education courses on ADHD and am a certified ADHD Rehabilitation Service Provider (ADHD-RSP).  

 

In addition to my love for pediatrics, I have always had a passion for animals, in particular horses.  I have over 20 years of equine experience and still enjoy riding today. 

 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids, going to the beach, boating, shopping and just being outdoors. I am excited to work with you and your child and look forward to reaching goals together!
